Save the Mentor Graphics Tutorial to your local directory and open it using Adobe Acrobat Reader (at the UNIX prompt type acroread &).
Follow the tutorial to set up your computing environment and run a sample VHDL simulation.
After you create your project directory, you will need to download the sample VHDL files or3.vhd and or3_testbench.vhd.

Pre-defined Local VHDL Design Libraries for ECE332

The pre-defined VHDL libraries are files that have the VHDL Source Code for the entities that you will require for developing structural descriptions. You will have to download the ECE332 Gate Library into your accounts (specifically into the directory that has your other VHDL Source Code). To be able to use these file(s) you will need to RE-COMPILE the file into your "Work" directory by executing the "qvhcom -93" command .
