Received the B.S.E.E. degree from Syracuse
University in 1965, the M.S.E.E. degree from Case-Western Reserve University
in 1968, and the Ph.D. degree from the Air
Force Institute of Technology in 1981.
He has over
35 years of experience in technical research and development and
project management positions
in government and academe. At the Air Force Avionics Lab, Electronics
Technology Division (reorganized as part of the
Air Force Research Laboratories, Sensors Directorate, Aerospace
Components and Subsystems
Technology Division, ),
he was involved in the development of advanced microwave, optical and
integrated circuit devices. He has
managed electromagnetic compatibility analyses related to the
development of various radio frequency
emitting systems. He was an Assistant Professor of Electrical
Engineering at the Air Force Institute of
Technology during the period 1981 - 1985, and an Adjunct Professor at
Wright State University. He is a
Senior Member of the IEEE and a member of Sigma Xi, Pi Mu Epsilon, Eta
Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi. His
areas of interest include semiconductor materials and devices, process
simulation, and VLSI circuit
design. After having served from 1987 as an adjunct faculty member in
the Department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering and subsequently a Visiting Associate Professor of
Electrical and Computer
Engineering, he accepted a position as Associate Professor of
Electrical and Computer Engineering and
Assistant Chair for Undergraduate Studies in the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering in
the Fall of 1990. In Fall 1999 he assumed the position of Associate
Chair.
