Received the B.S. and M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Warsaw Technical University, Warsaw, Poland, in 1973 and the Ph.D. degree, also in electrical engineering, from the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada in 1980. She joined George Mason in 1983 and she currently holds the rank of Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She was a faculty member at Warsaw Technical University and at George Washington University. Her major research interests are in digital signal processing algorithms, digital filter realizations, spectral analysis, and wavelet transforms.
