Topics and suggested problems to review. See if you know how to solve these exercises. Try selected ones.,Many are similar, so there is no need to do all of them.
Chapter 7
Chapter 7 - review the entire chapter, including Exercises at the end of the chapter, except those that require Matlab programming.
You need to have good working knowledge of the material from Chapter 7 (z-transforms, correlation functions and power spectra,
calculation of the MSE using power spectra).
Solution to problem 7.22 is posted - see the links at the bottom of the page
We have discussed this problem in class on two occasions.
This is the type of problem that could be on the test in some transformed (simplified) form.

Skip latice structures (too complicated for this test; good for a project)
Problems: Exercises on pp. 186-190, numbers 1 to 20. Skip exercises number 21-34, and purely Matlab problems that cannot be done on the test.
Chapter 9
This chapter was assigned as reading, but not covered by lecture. For the purpose of test, please study only pp. 195-200.
Problems: Exercises 1- 15, in particular 1, 2, 7, 13, 14. Additionally probelm 25. Skip Matlab simulation problems.
We have done in class Exercises 35 - 37 combined, so you should know how to do this type of problem.
